| Independence Concert
Held on the Sunday closest to July 4, this service endeavors to show the importance of the Bible and Christian faith in forming and preserving our nation. |
| Blessing Of The Bikes
Program that takes one Sunday out of the year for the Pastor and church members to welcome all motorcyclist at First Church. The Pastor blesses each motorcyclist and his bike. The motorcyclist is given a blessing card to carry in his wallet. Fellowship, fun, and fun follow the blessing.

| Festival Of Sharing
A drive in the Fall to collect items for layettes, baby, health, sewing, personal hygiene & school kits. These items are then distributed to low-income homes in Missouri and to refugee camps and mission hospitals throughout the world. |
| Christmas Candlelight Service
A yearly tradition at First Church, this program is presented on a Sunday preceding Christmas. It features a 30 voice choir and twelve to fifteen instrumentalists.

| Christmas Eve Communion Service
These services are held at 6:00 & 10:00PM to accommodate those who work all day on Christmas Eve. The climactic moment comes with the singing of “Silent Night” while each worshipper holds a lighted candle aloft. |
A nursery is provided for Sunday morning worship services, choir practices, UMW morning meetings, & special services
